Dear Training Providers
Good day to you!
We would like to inform you that we have come across a bug on the Google Chrome Browser version 88.0.4324.104, causing the date and time displayed in Chrome to be different from our local timezone (GMT +08:00). You can read through the article from Google Chrome Help here.
If you are using this version of Google Chrome on a Windows-based workstation, it will affect the date and time displayed on any website to be delayed, as it is setting the default timezone to a different one (GMT -08:00). Also, the issue does not occur to all workstations (i.e. issue manifests in Computer 1, but not in Computer 2 even though they are on the same version 88.0.4324.104).
In line with this, Google has released an updated Google Chrome version 88.0.4324.146 in order to fix this bug. We strongly recommend that you also update your local Google Chrome browsers to the latest one to avoid issues when accessing the Skilleto Portal.
To update your Google Chrome Browser please follow the steps below. You may also refer to the attached screenshot for reference.
- Click on the 3-dots icon on the upper right corner of your Google Chrome window.
- Navigate to Help
- Click on About Google Chrome, the current browser version will be displayed.
- If you are still on the previous version, you may click on the Relaunch button, to initiate the update. (Note: This action may cause your Google Chrome browser to be closed. Please save any of your work before you proceed.)

Upon successful update, you will be able to see the latest Google Chrome version installed in your workstation. Please see the screenshot below for reference:

Thank you for your understanding. If there are any questions or issues, please email us at support@skilleto.zendesk.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Sincerely,
Skilleto Ops Team
